pretzel salad

2 cups crushed pretzels		
1 (8oz.) container Cool Whip
3 tbsp. sugar			
1 (6oz.) pkg. strawberry jello                                   
¾ cup melted margarine	       
2 cartons frozen
8 oz. softened cream cheese	
sweetened strawberries 
1 cup sugar		                
2 cups boiling water

Mix pretzels, sugar and margarine together and press into 
9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 350-degree oven for 9 minutes, 
let cool. Mix softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar together, 
then fold in 8 oz. Cool Whip. Spread this mixture over pretzel 
crust. Mix strawberry jello with 2 cups boiling water. Add 2 cartons 
frozen sweetened strawberries and stir until broken apart
Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate till jello 
and strawberry mixture set.

The combination of the salty pretzel crust and the sweetness 
of the filling, give this salad a great taste.
