sour cream biscuits

2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 c Crisco
3/4 c milk
1/2 c sour cream

Preheat oven to 400f
In a large bowl sift together the flour, salt,
and baking powder.
Work in the shortening with the fingertips or 
pastry blender until mixture is like a coarse meal. 
Beat in the milk and sour cream until smooth. 

On a lightly floured board roll out the dough 
1/2 inch thick and cut out about 12 rounds. 
Place on a baking sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes
